    Hi Kelsi, great to know you are enjoying the Mexi nachos. We try to pack the chips on the top of the bean mix so you can pull them out before you rehydrate the meal. Nacho chips don’t always survive a ‘pack ride’ undamaged, but there’s always enough to get a bit of crunch.

    Thus was really delicious, my favorite real meal lunch option. I actually liked it with the chips left in, i tried to take them out before rehydrating but it was easier just to leave them in.

    Real Meals is my ‘go to’ for my trips to NZ. The meals are consistently full of flavour and I’m yet to come across one that disappoints. The nachos are my fav and a regular on my rotation. On my last trip I bought 4 packs back to Australia 🙂

    Not for me… felt it took more rehydration than others. I usually love Mexican but didnt enjoy this. Nothing wrong with it, we all have different tastes.

    Really grateful for the lack of chilli. I don’t like eating chilli-infested food, especially if I’m dehydrated. I picked out the nacho chips before I rehydrate the meal. We had a good BCC nacho meal to compare it with. Theirs has too much chilli!

    Best backpacking meal I’ve ever had on the trails, and I’ve had many. Would happily eat this at home too! Great flavour and veey filling.

    Flavour was on point, but the chips were all mixed in so they got soggy and basically disappeared. Really wish they’d been in a separate pack to remove then add in later.

    Thanks Rebecca, some people take the chips out before adding the hot water, and we know some who also take extra chips! We don’t want to add extra packaging to the meal.
