Taylor Peter –
Thank you for removing the bacon, the new recipe is amazing.
Peter Davis –
Delicious – as good as home made scrambled eggs.
Pity they aren’t a wee bit Cheaper.
Adam Errington –
I think I put too much water in mine because it was runny and
tasted weird. Lesson learned I guess – measure the water! The other meals were perfect though.
Steve Austin –
Found them really tasty and worked great with a wrap for making a breakfast burrito
Tanya Winter –
I think I put too much water in mine. They were tasty, but rubbery and watery.

Thanks for the feedback Tanya, it’s hard to get a good rehydrate with eggs because of the protein levels. We are working on this one though.
Rebecca –
The flavour was very good, but the egg texture a little bit spongy. I think they would be good with bread or a wrap go make them less rich.
Karen –
I had heard they could be a bit rubbery, so thought I would taste them while waiting for the water to boil. They were delicious! I ate the whole pack unhydrated!!!
Graeme Jaques –
Awesome wee breakfast great taste and easy to mix it up with something else as well! Good serving size too
Bayne –
i like a couple of the real meals, but this is really not good sorry ! like some previous reviews, i used the exact water quantity at home on a test run to see if i wanted to buy a bunch of these, it was like soup. Drained the excess water when it was ready and that fixed water mostly. BUT the texture is rather unpleasant, a cross between sponge and rubbery and i couldnt take a bunch of these on long camping trips. I was kind with 2 stars for this one.

Hi Bayne
Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the texture of the eggs. Because we use fresh eggs (as opposed to powdered egg), it’s always a challenge to get a soft rehydrate. The protein levels in fresh eggs make it hard to get that soft texture you get at home.

Egg, Cheese, and Chives hack!!! and it’s a game-changer. The bacon mash can be shaped into patties and fried for a crispy base. Topped with eggs, it creates a hearty breakfast. Easy to prepare and lightweight to carry, this meal delivers great flavour—hash browns, bacon, creamy eggs, and chives. Highly recommend!
