If you’re looking for an easy after work overnighter look no further than Anapai Beach in the Abel Tasman. The camping spots are right on the beach and the views are to die for. Heading in from Totaranui only takes 45 minutes with the uphill all over in one short push.
From Anapai you can explore the coast to the south at low tide or continue along the Abel Tasman Coastal Track to Mutton Cove slightly further north. The rocks at the northern end of Anapai Beach are a photographers dream with endless sunrise and sunset options.
